Congratulations on Retirement, Jeff Trieb, PE, CPD!

CD Companies would like to congratulate Jeff Trieb, PE, CPD on retirement after almost 10 years of service with CASCO and over 40 years in the A/E/C industry!

Jeff decided to get into the industry because he had an affinity for the sheet metal/mechanical contracting business and systems design hoping to join the family business one day. His uncle had developed his grandfather’s original operation into a regional contracting business in Kansas City. However, choices and opportunities led Jeff into another career path. Jeff began his career in 1979 after graduating from Georgia Tech, working for defense contractor Union Carbide Nuclear in Oak Ridge, TN eventually moving to the HVAC systems design group. He has remained in the HVAC field ever since, working in product design, various equipment manufacturers, contractors, and A/E firms.

Jeff joined CASCO in November 2011. During his time, he notes that some of his favorite projects have been Bed, Bath & Beyond warehouses in Nevada, Georgia, Texas, Virginia & call centers in Florida, Utah.  Missouri National Guard CSMS facilities renovations in Jefferson City, MO, WIPRO telemarketing facility in Jefferson City, MO, the conversion of Eastland Mall JC Penny’s into smaller tenant spaces in Normal, IL, Personalization Mall in Chicago, IL, SiO3 Syntrax protein process & distribution facility in Cape Girardeau, MO,  Silverleaf Resorts aquatic center in Sheridan, IL, as well as countless other retail and commercial facilities throughout the country.

In retirement Jeff is looking forward to being able to take more vacations and spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Jeff’s advice for the younger generation is “Take every advantage to develop your expertise & skills.  CD Companies provides an abundance of self-development programs, funds, and applicable education opportunities to make you into a highly valued, indispensable, and seasoned professional.  It is your obligation to yourself and to CD Companies to apply yourself to CD Companies provided professional training to obtain your professional credentials (PE licenses, CPD certifications, NCARB/RA licenses, etc.) and to advance in ranking within the culture of CD Companies.”
