Description

The CD Companies is a leading national engineering and architecture firm with five divisions working across a broad variety of sectors including early childhood education, hospitality, medical, assisted living, industrial, retail, office, mixed-use, and governmental.  The CD Companies is seeking articulate, organized, ambitious, and motivated individuals to join our team with no prior experience required! We have open full-time entry-level positions in both the Architectural and Engineering Fields.  This job will include full in-person paid training through our ELEVATE program to become an Architectural or Engineering Technician.

Duties:

• Guided training through our ELEVATE program by architects and engineers in one or more of the following programs: AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, and Civil 3D.
• Preparing construction plans and documents using new proficiency in drafting programs.
• Coordinating and consulting with architects and engineers to complete projects.
• Tracking and reporting project progress.
• Performing other duties assigned in an orderly and efficient manner.

Experience:

• No prior relevant job experience required.
• Proficiency in Word
• Proficiency in Excel
• Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills
• The ability to self-direct and multitask in a professional office environment
• Experience in the construction industry is a plus
• Previous experience with an architecture or engineering firm is a big plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour
